Are prices listed on this catalog retail or net trade?

Is pricing shown ex VAT?

Yes the prices shown are excluding value added tax

Are the prices shown including the fabric shown in the image?

No. The prices are CMT or COM. Customers own material. The fabric is to be chosen and supplied by the client. Should our clients request us to purchase the fabric on their behalf we will include the fabric price in the final price, over & above CMT.

What metrics are the sizes shown?

Millimeters, please note that there might be slight variances as all products are hand made.

Does the fabric required cover plain or pattern meterage?

The fabric required is for plain meterage only. Please contact your SF Trade manager to assist with a pattern requirement.

Can I customize these sizes?

Yes. Please note there might be an additional design fee on certain items as development is needed.

Do you offer any further designs and can you custom design items?

Yes. We offer over 250 standard designs and have a SF design department ready to assist with custom pieces.

What are your lead times?

4-6 weeks on standard items (Feb-July) and 8-10 weeks on standard items (August - Jan). Please note custom items require 2-3 weeks development. Refer to our terms and conditions on our website for further information.

How do I register for the SF Trade Program?

You can register for our designer trade program by completing an application and submitting supporting documents. Please contact your local Trade Account Manager, visit our website or by calling 073 140 8079.

What are the benefits of being an SF Trade member?

Among the many benefits of our designer trade program are our in-store concierge services, special pricing, and designer rebate incentive. With an SF Trade account, you can enjoy up to 30% savings on full-priced merchandise and 10% on sale merchandise online and in our galleries.

How do I qualify for the SF Trade Rebate Incentive?

Our designer trade incentive is based on a spend threshold. To be eligible, you must first sign up for SF Trade membership. Upon membership approval, the details of the designer incentive will be sent to you. You can earn up to an additional 10% rebate over and above your qualified trade discount should you spend more than R450 000 with SF in a quarter.

How do I place an order or receive a quote?

Which industries and professions qualify for the SF Trade program?

Our SF Trade program is only offered to residential interior designers, licensed general contractors, architects, and professional home decorators who work directly with homeowners on their home design or improvement projects. The program is not open to businesses not focused on the residential design and home improvement segment. If your business does not qualify for the SF Trade program, you can enjoy other benefits by joining our SF Members Program.

If your project scope is focused around hospitality, restaurants, lodges, guest houses or multi residential developments or an interior design firm working with contract developers, you should contact our SF Contract team to support your business.

May I add another person to my SF Trade Account?

Yes, you may add authorized contacts to your SF Trade Account. Email their first and last names, position with the company, email address, and phone number to Please allow two business days for your account to be updated. Your authorized users will have full access to place orders online, in the gallery, and with our team.

Is the SF Trade program discount valid at Outlet locations?

No. With an SF Trade account, you can enjoy up to 30% savings on full-priced merchandise and 10% on sale merchandise online and in our galleries. The discount is not applicable to items in our Outlets.

What is the SF Trade return policy?

SF Trade orders allow for refunds, less any applicable transport charges, for any standard product that you are not fully satisfied with within 14 days of delivery. Returns are not accepted on any custom developed designs. To make a return, please contact your respective Key Accounts Manager in JHB or CPT.

How long will it take to receive my order?

How do I track my order?

When your items are dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email that will include tracking information. Furniture deliveries are coordinated via your SF Trade representative.

Can SF Trade process special shipping requests?

If you have unique project requirements, please contact our SF Trade representatives to discuss options.

Can I expedite my order?

Certain items may be expedited, this might be at an additional cost. Please contact an SF Trade representative for further information.

Does SF Trade offer fabric swatches, wood finish, and detailing samples?

Yes, we offer fabric swatches and some wood finish and detailing samples.

Does SF Trade rent or loan furniture?

We do not offer rental or loan of our products.

Our Process


From your initial design, we will advise what can be manufactured, whether it’s an occasional chair, sofas or other quality material with a vast array of colour finishes available.



Once you’re happy with your design and have selected or supplied your fabric of choice, we will then provide a quote for you to have your unique and iconic furniture pieces created.



If you’d like to make any last-minute changes, now is the time to let us know! Once we know you’re happy with your final choice, we can quickly let you know what bearing any changes might have on the quotation price.


Lead time

Lead time on custom orders is usually between 4-6 weeks on standard items (Feb-July) and 8-10 weeks on standard items (August – Jan), however we can advise you on current lead times once your order is placed. While we strive to meet our lead times, bespoke furniture may be built sooner, or orders may be delayed during peak periods.
